Here at Strick's, we keep every deer separated during processing, no matter the size, because we believe that you should reap the benefits of your harvest. Each order that comes through our doors is assigned a unique reference number that will follow your meat through each processing step. Also, take time to make a clean shot and use common sense when handling your deer before it makes its way to our plant because that will be the meat you take home to feed your family.

BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR MEAT:

  • Meat must be cleaned and quartered.

  • Must be clear of debris, dirt, fecal matter, and other foreign materials.

  • If you bag, we recommend clear bags. No trash bags or other scented plastic.

  • No whole carcasses. we are not set up to skin or gut whole carcasses.

  • Meat must come in under ice (or below 40º) and show signs of proper handing.

  • Coolers that have been stored during the summer must be cleaned and sanitized before using for meat storage and transport.
